Rainfall of Light…

A poem of love, on this Diwali🕯

Holding of two hands with love,

A warrior’s strength promises to keep

a whirlwind of tender emotions, while

he goes to the wars,

A rainfall unbound promises to moisten an arid vastness till her last drop…

Such is the joy, such is the flame,

when these hands hold each other,

Such are the wings, such is the flight,

Such is the light from love’s diya,

that plays with the winds, teases the winds, weathers come and go, lives create themselves and erase without leaving a trace,

But this light hasn’t blown out…
