Life Song of a booklover

Photo by Gaelle Marcel on Unsplash

Who would understand a book lover…
That one man looking towards a bookshelf
with dreamy eyes, and tears swelling up
in his beautiful eyes,
Then, he picks up one book,
looking at its cover, he looks at a life -
a life other than his,
Oh, No, no, he knows, ask his heart,
this is his own life, and these thousands of lives,
that he has read about, are all his own,
He gets to know that all of this universe
attends to all that he does,
that his life song is not worthless,
that he is a part of this universe,
a wave in an ocean,
all this he knows, when he but reads…
