Invention of a Slap
In the days of old,
When that untiring creator,
whom you call God,
created this beautiful earth
with beautiful humans,
then, O then,
everything was soft and feathery,
tender and peaceful,
he sitting on his throne,
enjoyed ample supply of grapes,
and oranges, and apples, and sugarcanes,
and looked down on his creation.
Then, he heard, O yes, he heard
“CHATAAK!!”
The sound of a hand,
on another’s cheek,
Oh! the humans had succeeded
in inventing a Slap!
His throne shook,
The sound was nothing like
what he had ever heard,
It had the power of a storm,
the grace of a roar,
And after that day,
Universe was never the same,
Now, there was this SLAP
to enforce order, obedience, truth,
Too much cleverness will not rule,
Too much injustice will not prevail,
We have this slap, O, We have this slap!!
