Darkness to Light

In the dark cellars
of what is called love
by this world,
From the burning fires
of selfish passion,
From where hearts and minds
suffer unbearably,
in that place of biting pain,
From amongst the cries of lust,
suddenly, a feeble-sounding
courageous voice
arises, that has inside it
a meaning so profound,
a poetry too sweet,
a light so pure,
a knot of strength
unbreakably tight,
a love so fresh,
that, in an instant,
real love takes over,
rest is beyond words…
