Clusters of bright yellow
“clusters of bright yellow, ‘queen of the nights’ and a poet…” — a poem

Clusters of bright yellow
startled the poet —
Then, his wonderstruck eyes
knew the meaning of ‘flowers’…
He moved reluctantly,
a little further, and look —
a huge giant, with arms spread wide,
and a million little fluttering flags
awaited him, before his eyes could even
see it, his mind and heart exclaimed in joy —
O! How many! O! How many!
Yes, how many dancing leaves on that big tree…
His mind and heart and eyes
didn’t want to go any further,
but his soul pushed him like Buddha
to go further, go further,
O poet, go further, a little more,
and more greater and grander treasures
await you…
A little more steps,
when he took
his whole body shook,
shook with pleasure,
and joy, and love,
as he saw a brook,
clear and blue,
lovely and new,
musical like few
great musicians,
he took blessings
from the river
and moved
further…
Some few
white,
‘Queens
of the night’
blossomed
at the next step
and tender,
exotic fragrance
filled the evening,
bringing
with it
an intoxication
for the poet,
and all poets
who never rest
and appreciate
creation without
cessation…
