Brahma’s Process of Creation
a poem
The creator is in intense meditation
All the music he is gathering within him
to put into the seed of this universe
All the grace, from every possible source,
he is collecting for the seed of life
His meditation at this point is deeper
than all the oceans,
Some sparks of colors within him
and he has created a million suns,
and planets
He, the great meditator,
is putting together random fragments
of things to create meaning,
All his four heads are the four dimensions
of life, in four directions,
they exist so that nothing is excluded
from his creation, so that his creation
is perfectly perfect, and also full, and
ever-growing
He is Brahma, he puts life into every leaf,
he puts purity into every dewdrop,
and beauty into every sunrise,
only he knows how love is suffused
into every particle of life…
